Master Kenneth Thompson is a 7th Dan in Taekwondo, and is also a quartermaster for the Tampa Swamp Knights and has professionally fought in the cage as well as numerous tournaments throughout his martial arts career.
Master Thompson has been a practitioner of Taekwondo since his early age of 6, and has continued for the extent of 31 years of training to reach his mastery and professional level. His record of martial arts tournaments within the American Taekwondo Foundation and local to national tournaments reaches over 150 competitions, even achieving national champion over 5 times in the ATF and Mississippi state champion.
His professional career in martial arts having taught at MSA for over 8 years as the martial arts educator, to owning his own martial arts school for over 15 years in Florida. Before that he professionally taught at his home martial arts school in Mississippi for over 10 years.
In 2020, Covid unfortunately led to the shut-down of his martial arts school, but not his training and continuation to pursue martial arts knowledge as he branched into Judo, BJJ, and an amazing medieval sport called Buhurt.

One of the founding members of the Tampa area Buhurt team, Thompson earned his opportunity to live legendary as a knight in armor for multiple Florida competitions and events as well as two national Carolina Carnage competitions for group fights and melees.
After helping start the Tampa Corsairs that changed to Tampa Swamp Knights, Thompson continued mixing his strategies and knowledge in Taekwondo for the brute art of buhurt and became a leader in the community as well as co-captain. Now he is a board member for the Florida Armored Combat, which regulates events and competitions state-wide in Florida; all while still training as a fighter and to train as a marshal and judge in the sport.
